Our client specialises in delivering premium flight training, aircraft ownership support and advanced pilot development programmes to a select portfolio of private aircraft owners, entrepreneurs and aviation enthusiasts. Unlike a traditional volume-based flying school, the organisation focuses on providing highly personalised training solutions tailored to each individual's aviation objectives.
With an established reputation for exceptional customer service, operational excellence and long-term client relationships, the organisation is entering an exciting period of strategic growth and development. As part of its expansion plans, the business is progressing through the transition to Approved Training Organisation (ATO) status whilst broadening its operational footprint.
To support this next stage of growth, our client is seeking an experienced Head of Training to provide leadership across training operations, regulatory compliance and instructional standards.
The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to play a pivotal role in the development of a forward-thinking training organisation.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the Head of Training will be responsible for leading the training function through its next phase of growth, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance, operational performance and instructional quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining both flying and management responsibilities.
Approximately two days per week will be dedicated to flight instruction and client engagement, with the remaining time focused on:
- Training oversight and governance
- Regulatory compliance and quality assurance
- Instructor recruitment, mentoring and development
- Operational procedures and continuous improvement
- Supporting organisational growth and future expansion initiatives
