We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join the commercial team in Malta to drive the business forward and support the Sales Manager. The main purpose of the role is to sell charter flights by engaging and responding to enquiries from existing clients as well as building a network of new clients.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Develop good working relationships with new and existing clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Generating new business leads
- Project the company image and brand and represent the company at events
- Reviews rates for quotes and strive to improve rates
- Review Industry Business intelligence, market trends and competitor activity
- Follow up on all quotes on a daily basis to maximise bookings and build rapport
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Self motivated and driven
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ability to stand in for sales manager and lead by example
- Knowledge of the Aviation or Travel industry
- Additional languages
