GOOSE is hiring for a reputable aviation establishment in Gloucester Airport in search of a skilled B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer ready to take on a pivotal role within our dynamic team. This position entails overseeing the Part 147 responsibilities while maintaining involvement in our Part 145 base maintenance operations.

Ideal for seasoned professionals seeking career advancement, the successful candidate will assume the Part 147 post holder position, reporting directly to senior management. You'll play a key role in expanding our Part 147 offerings within our aviation group while staying closely connected to our on-site Part 145 operations.

This role offers a distinctive blend of responsibilities, providing variety and challenges that go beyond traditional engineering roles.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of the Part 147 training organisation as the Form 4 post holder.
  • Regularly update and liaise with the management team through comprehensive reports.
  • Certify work within our company's authorisation at both line and base levels.
  • Engage with customers on-site and at remote facilities, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to streamline business operations.
  • Provide supervision to engineering and support staff when necessary.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Fulfill all Continuing Professional Development requirements as per company policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft-based systems is essential.
