GOOSE Recruitment is recruiting for a Logistics Manager on behalf of a leading Aviation company. This role is based in Malta. The position of Logistics Manager will report directly to the VP of Logistics.

You will be responsible for all logistics activities associated with aircraft maintenance. This includes shipment of routine and AOG material to and from the maintenance facility and shipment of special items such as engines and inlets. In addition, the Logistics Manager is also responsible for the Group’s material warehouse at the maintenance base and at outstations. You will also ensure that the material requirements for the group are efficiently managed in accordance with the Group’s requirements and existing contracts. You will do this by proactively engaging with stakeholders and users to support them in their daily material needs.

You will need to be an experienced logistics professional and be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Proven experience in logistics management
  • A minimum of five years of working experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in material management, logistics management or another relevant field
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Completed relevant EASA and/or FAA training is a plus
