GOOSE are delighted to be working with a global aviation company who partner with several cargo airline's to ensure their commercial success and are looking for a Pricing Manager to join their expanding team in the UAE.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the strategic pricing of cargo services
  • Rate Management: Developing and managing rate structures for various cargo services. This involves establishing tariffs, freight rates, and pricing tiers based on factors like distance, weight, volume, and service level agreements. Continuously reviewing and adjusting rates to stay competitive while ensuring profitability
  • Dynamic Pricing: Developing pricing models that can adjust in real-time based on factors like demand, seasonality, fuel costs, route availability, carrier rates, and other market variables. This agility allows for competitive pricing while ensuring profitability
  • Rate Negotiation: Negotiating rates with carriers, partners, and customers to secure mutually beneficial agreements. This includes discussing pricing terms, discounts, and long-term contracts while considering market conditions and company objectives
  • Product Development Support: Collaborating with product development teams to align pricing strategies with new services or enhancements. Providing insights on pricing models for new offerings, conducting market research to assess potential pricing strategies, and determining optimal pricing for new products or services
  • Competitive Analysis: Conducting regular competitive analysis to benchmark the company's rates and pricing strategies against industry competitors. This helps in adjusting pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market
  • Feedback Integration: Gathering feedback from sales teams, customers, and market trends to refine and optimize pricing structures. Using CRM systems or feedback mechanisms to collect data on customer preferences and willingness to pay
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assessing potential risks associated with pricing strategies, such as pricing too high and losing customers or pricing too low and compromising profitability. Developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment between pricing strategies, business objectives, and operational feasibility
About you:
You will have experience as a Pricing Manager in the aviation industry and air cargo experience would be a distinct advantage. You will be confident using various business intelligence tools and technologies such as Tableau and Power BI. 

You will be already be based in the UAE and live within commutable distance of Sharjah.
