The Role:
This role is working with a fleet of light aircraft withing a Part 145 organisation that would see no two days being the same. The role offers the opportunity to troubleshoot, lead engineering staff and repair all aspects of the fleet.
- Full-time position: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) with occasional overtime opportunities.
- Hands-on work: Conduct maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of bespoke light aircraft.

Our client is happy to sponsor candidates holding EASA, UKCAA, CASA, or TCCA licenses, with prior General Aviation experience and a preference to PT6 engine type / experience . providing an excellent opportunity for international applicants to work in New Zealand.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- NZCAA certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license or the ability to transfer a current licence
- Current Group 1 aircraft and Group 3 (PT6) engine ratings or the ability to gain new ratings quickly.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work to a high standard while monitoring and assessing the work completed by others.
- Excellent knowledge of typical aircraft maintenance practices
- Aeronautical structural repair experience
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Ability to read and apply instructions from technical publication and drawings
