Responsibilities
· Analyze revenue performance, market share, capacity, competitive landscape and develop market level strategies
· Forecasting demand (eg freesale- and allotted capacity) and contribution on your flights;
· Monitor competitor pricing and ensure that proper pricing and availability is in place
· Optimizing flight related parameters (eg overbooking, bucket settings) during the booking window;
· Stay apprised of key events and other cargo demand drivers in assigned markets
· Manage of overbooking levels for assigned markets
· Perform ad-hoc projects as required
· Other duties as assigned or directed
· Analyze trends in bookings, revenue and market dynamics
· Assess demand patterns and competitive landscape
· Segment customers based on market conditions
· Develop rate structure/demand forecast to optimize revenue
· Plan seasonal strategy for holidays and peak periods
· Communicate department strategy, working with other stakeholders
· Developing the flight steering strategy and ensuring correct settings when flights open for sales;
· Adjusting the steering for available capacity through ensuring the right traffic mix (eg origin, destination, and product) based on detailed analysis;
· Allotment acceptance & review and participate in seasonal allotment process;
· Supporting the Regional Commercial managers in the monthly budget and forecast process;
· Monitoring route performance (eg allocation utilization, operational performance) and understands related market dynamics (eg market share development, competitor behavior, macro-economic trends);
· Identifying causes that hamper optimal flight optimization and proposes solutions for improvement
· Initiating and leading projects related to Network Planning management process enhancement.
