Goose Recruitment is proud to collaborate with a renowned aviation company based in Germany, seeking a dynamic Aircraft Maintenance Planner to support their commercial aircraft operations. The position is based in Germany. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of commercial aircraft maintenance planning, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Act as the main interface and key account manager for customers
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of external aircraft maintenance
  • Coordinate internally with maintenance, procurement, sales, stores, and finance departments
  • Prepare comprehensive technical bids, describing maintenance work, work packages, man-hour estimates, and material requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the maintenance department to ensure technical bids align with maintenance realities
  • Manage technical department projects, such as pre-inspections, to provide accurate bids
  • Communicate with customers, providing technical bids, addressing inquiries, clarifying invoices, and technical details
  • Generate invoices reflecting all conducted tasks and work on the aircraft, including materials and man-hours
  • Maintain the Customer Information Portal to update customers on maintenance progress
  • Gather and document market intelligence and potential customer information
  • Regularly monitor tender websites
  • Manage contract documentation and distribution
Your Profile:
  • Technical studies or vocational training with relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aviation or a similarly complex industry
  • Background in commercial aircraft maintenance preferred
  • Thorough understanding of technology complexity comparable to commercial aircraft
  • Project management experience required
  • Technical bid preparation experience advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Fluent in English; German language skills preferred
  • Commercial mindset with analytical and structured working approach
  • Independent, self-driven, and capable of project execution
