Are you an experienced Aviation Professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our professional and well established manufacturing client are looking for a General Manger to join their fast growing team based in the Leeds area. 
 
The suitable candidate will have vast experience within the aviation industry having previously worked in Engineering and Operations departments over a 10 year period. Being apart of the senior leadership team means you must balance multiple departments.
 
The role
 
As the General Manager you will be responsible for large parts of the business. A few of your day to day responsibilities will be strategic business development, C-Suite client interactions, work to agreed business targets, as well as:
 
- Consolidate current service/product offering and develop process improvements to ensure high levels of quality output.
- Lead the business in the development and delivery of new products and services to market. 
- Deliver growth and profit targets agreed.
- Take ownership of high level communications with senior level clients.
- Assume overall management of the current senior Team Leaders; currently there are 4 Team Leaders.
 
 
About you

You must have strong communication skills as you will be regularly interacting with senior level clients as well as the colleagues you manage. It is essential you have experience across Engineering and Operations.
