You will oversee the Engineering Department, ensuring efficient and compliant maintenance, modifications, and repairs of Leonardo, Airbus, Bell, and Sikorsky helicopters. You will manage Base Managers and support them in leading their teams. Through Maintenance Planning and Logistics, you will prioritise tasks and drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with all Aviation Regulations.
- Managing the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Overseeing facilities and ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining an active maintenance man-hour plan.
- Ensuring the availability and use of necessary equipment and tools.
- Supporting the Company Safety Management System (SMS).
You will have experience in a Part 145 MRO environment, likely as a Maintenance Manager, Base Maintenance Manager, or Head of Maintenance. You will possess excellent people skills and extensive experience dealing with employees, customers, and peers. You will understand the complex maintenance demands in a commercial environment and have a solution-focused attitude.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Regulatory Nominated Person for Part 145.
- Part 66 B1.3, B2 Cat C rotary wing licensed aircraft engineer.
- Expert knowledge of Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance Management.
- Practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and Safety Management Systems.
- Demonstrable people and cultural change management experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You MUST have the right to live and work in the UK.
- You MUST be able to get DBS security clearance.
