Our client are looking for experience of at least 5 years in flight operations along with previous experience in managing an operations engineering department.
- Manage the Department and the dedicated staff including the task distribution
- Be the key contact for technical operational matters in case of need and inform the Vice President
- Be in charge of Flight Operations Projects
- Perform all duties of the “Officer Flight Operations Engineering”
- Perform the duties of deputy EFB administrator
- Have proven technical, aeronautical or aviation experience
- Have solid knowledge in “Operations Engineering” matters or equivalent experience
- Have good leadership skills to lead a team of engineers and experts
- Have strong organizational skills and a clear sense of priorities
- Be detail oriented and reliable
- Show a strong ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
- Demonstrate a strong affinity for a wide range of software applications
- Strong Knowledge of EASA Air Ops regulations and ICAO standards
- Be Familiar with the Electronic Flight Bag application
- Be familiar with standard office applications
- Have proven experience in Project management and software implementation
- Accept Duty Travel
- Show experience with safety and security risk analysis
- Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
- Show minimum knowledge in EU (EASA)-OPS and aeronautical documentation
- Show in depth knowledge of aircraft performance
- Show an initial knowledge of ATC Flight planning
- Show user skills in specific Flight OPS applications
- Show basic knowledge of systems architecture and software implementation
- Show strong analytic skills.
- University degree in aeronautics or equivalent and at least 5 year experience in Flight operations
- Previous Experience in managing an operations engineering department
- Strong knowledge of EFB systems
- Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset.
