GOOSE Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in the search for a Planning Manager to join with an immediate start.

Job Content:
  • Managing the team of Customer / Planning Specialists, including staff appraisals and development plans.
  • Part of the Senior Management team.
  • Ensuring consistency and standards of Pre-Input / Post-Input processes for projects.
  • Daily Liaison with internal departments and the Customers regarding Check Progress and Financial Progress.
  • Monitoring of overall project status & updating stakeholders using associated data.
  • Liaise with Manufacturers and 3rd Parties with regard to technical queries (e.g., Modifications and Repairs).
  • Manage Planning / Pipeline meetings and hangar plans.
  • Form part of the SMS and be accountable for the planning and technical procedures / MOE elements.
  • Be an advocate of continuous improvement for the team and business.
  • Support of Commercial Department with quotations, invoicing and technical liaison.
  • Responsible for warranty programs and claim submission.
  • Maintain Planning Department Manpower Plan.
  • Ensuring all relevant maintenance data subscription is to remain valid.
  • From time-to-time cover for team:
    • o Raising Scheduled Input Work packs, a minimum of one-week in advance of the start
    • o List and order Pre-Load items, a minimum of seven-days prior to the
    • o Ensure that all relevant outside agencies required have been booked, (i.e., NDT and Weighing).
    • o Production and Issue of Aircraft Logbook, Certificates and Release of Service
    • o Support company CEO for example during absence as
    • o Ad-hoc Travel may be occasionally required to support the business need.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:   
  • Business Aviation Planning and / or Customer Service experience involving high-end net worth customers.
  • Experience of Planning / Project Management.
  • Leadership and Coaching skills.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • High standard of written and spoken technical English.
  • Resilience in problem resolution.
  • Strong IT skills including MS office products with the ability to adopt new systems.
