Regional Sales Director

  • Location: London (Hybrid with Flexible Home Working)
  • Full-time | Early Shift Aligned with Indian Time Zone (approx. 05:00–13:30, flexibility considered)
  • Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 + Commission + Bonus
Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Director to lead the growth of a new region, with a focus on developing the Indian market. This is a strategic role that requires strong sales capabilities, market insight, and fluency in Hindi. You will play a pivotal role in growing component sales from scratch, building relationships with customers and driving commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion
  • Develop and execute a strategy to establish a strong sales presence in India
  • Conduct market research to identify key opportunities and build a targeted customer base
  • Lead business development efforts, identifying and engaging with potential airline and MRO clients
Sales and Relationship Management
  • Manage full sales cycle – from enquiry to delivery
  • Drive sales from stock and via brokerage deals
  • Identify and recommend new part numbers to align with sales strategy
  • Deliver excellent service through responsive, knowledgeable communication
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients through regular engagement and travel
Customer Engagement & Problem Solving
  • Serve as the key contact for escalated customer queries and internal stakeholder coordination
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up
  • Conduct client visits in India as needed to support ongoing growth and service excellence
What You’ll Need
  • Proven experience in aircraft component sales
  • Fluency in Hindi is essential
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, self-starting approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation sales environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working early hours aligned with the Indian market
  • Previous aviation industry experience is required
