Join a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer as a Technical Services Manager and play a key role in supporting military tyre operations across EMEA and APAC. Based in the Midlands, this role offers international exposure, technical depth, and the chance for you to make a real impact on product safety and performance.
You will act as the primary point of contact for all in-service product support, working closely with customers, operators, and internal teams to ensure safe and effective product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical support for customers across EMEA and APAC military operations
- Manage field evaluations and analyse in-service tyre performance data
- Investigate in-service incidents and produce detailed technical reports
- Deliver training and best practice guidance to operators and third parties
- Support product development through performance insights and customer feedback
- Collaborate with internal teams and attend global industry events
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in aviation and/or tyre sector
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
- Engineering background essential – landing gear or aerospace preferred; automotive tyre experience also considered
- Knowledge of tyre design, manufacture, and root cause analysis
- Understanding of aircraft component approvals (TSO/STC)
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
Qualifications:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Degree in Aviation, Engineering or related field
- Desirable: NDT accreditation or problem-solving certifications
