Goose Recruitment are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients finance team. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, ensuring correct GL allocation, project and VAT compliance, and organizing payments.

Location: Durban, South Africa 
Contract duration: 6-month fixed term, maternity cover

Key duties include:
  • Managing and reconciling supplier accounts
  • Allocating payments and updating exchange rates
  • Processing bank transactions and supporting monthly reconciliations
  • Assisting with audit schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • General admin and ad hoc finance tasks
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong numeracy, data entry, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team, with excellent time management
