GOOSE Recruitment is proud to be supporting a fantastic opportunity for a B1/B2 Licensed Engineer to join a well-established engineering team based primarily in Scotland. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering stability, progression, and the chance to work with a variety of modern aircraft types.

B1/B2 Licenced Engineer
Location: Scotland

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out allocated maintenance tasks in line with company procedures, as directed by the Area Station Manager or Shift Supervisor.
  • Certify your own work in line with your personal company authorisation.
  • Maintain full familiarity with the MOE and working procedures relevant to your duties.
  • Perform engineering duties ‘away from base’ or at outstations when required.
  • Ensure engineering facilities, tools, and vehicles are maintained to the appropriate standards.

Requirements:
  • UK CAA Part-66 Licence (EASA desirable)
  • Type ratings / Experience required:
    • Minimum 6 months’ experience within the past two years on Airbus A350, plus at least two of the following:
    • A320 CFM/V2500/PW1100
    • B737 NG/MAX
    • A330 RR T700 or T7000
  • Supporting logbooks/worksheets to demonstrate recency.
  • EWIS, FTS, HF (initial & recurrent).
  • Previous line and base maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel for company operations when required.
  • Ability to work a shift pattern (to be discussed at interview).

  • Full and valid UK driving licence.
  • Valid passport and the right to live and work in the UK (settled/pre-settled status share code or citizenship application required if shortlisted).
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to provide a 5-year reference history.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening.
