As a CAMO Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuing airworthiness of a diverse fleet of approximately six helicopters. This role demands a detail oriented professional capable of planning, coordinating, and tracking maintenance activities to the highest regulatory standards. You’ll be the right hand to the CAMO Manager, assuming key responsibilities in their absence and ensuring seamless operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and manage both short- and long term maintenance forecasts.
- Coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance tasks in line with regulations and internal standards.
- Track aircraft flight hours, cycles, and calendar-based maintenance events.
- Maintain up-to-date technical records for the fleet.
- Monitor compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other requirements.
- Liaise with Part 145 maintenance organisations to ensure timely and compliant work completion.
- Support the implementation of technical publications and modifications.
- Ensure full compliance with UK CAA Part M / UK Part-CAMO and GAR Part M / GAR Part CAMO (2-Reg).
- Assist in audits conducted by aviation authorities and clients.
- Provide detailed reports on airworthiness status to senior management.
- Act as the Deputy CAMO Manager in their absence, including participation in technical and operational meetings.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a CAMO or maintenance planning role, ideally in rotary aviation.
- Solid understanding of UK CAA Part M / UK Part-CAMO and 2-Reg CAMO requirements.
- Hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CAMP, OASES, TRAX).
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience with Leonardo AW109 and Airbus H155 aircraft.
- Aeronautical engineering qualifications or completion of relevant Part-66 modules.
- Background in VIP or private aviation operations.
- Ability to make informed decisions independently and respond flexibly to operational needs.
- Standard office hours with flexibility required during operational demands.
- On call availability may be necessary during AOG events or in the absence of the CAMO Manager.
- £40,000-£48,000 basic salary
