Location: Papua New Guinea (Equal Touring Roster)
Salary: NET AUD 10,000 – 11,000 per month (PNG pay structure)

Rotation: 4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off
The ideal candidate will bring a strong leadership presence, a solid background in rotary-wing aviation, and a passion for maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards in line with CASA PNG regulations, OGP guidelines, and BARS requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all rotary-wing flight operations in compliance with CASA PNG regulations, company exposition, and policy manuals
- Maintain currency as a backup pilot to support operational requirements
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant aviation legislation, licences, exemptions, and company procedures
- Manage pilot administration, including rostering, duty time limitations, licensing, and recency tracking
- Develop and oversee training systems for pilots, including emergency procedures, crew emergency training, and dangerous goods awareness
- Liaise with aviation authorities and regulatory bodies on operational matters
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure aircraft maintenance aligns with operational and safety policies
- Minimum of 5,000+ total flying hours
- ATPL (Helicopters)
- Type ratings on at least two helicopter types in the current fleet (AW139, B412, B212, B206, B407, S-76, EC145)
- Prior experience in a leadership, Check & Training, or CRM instructional role
- IFR operational capability
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism
- Solid understanding of risk assessment and safety management principles
