Job Description

Our client operates a fleet of fixed wing and rotary aircraft. The purpose of this fleet is to deliver a flying operation that meets the needs of their business.

Location- Farnborough, UK

As Flight Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that everything is in place to enable safe and efficient execution of the dynamic and fluid flying programme. You will actively manage flight execution from end-to-end, providing the first layer of oversight and support to the crew.
  
Delivering the highest standards of safety and service to our clients principals is the purpose of the operation 
  
You will be responsible for-
  • Remain in consultation with PAs and other stakeholders, conduct final coordination of the travel requirements. 
  • Collate information to generate accurate Flight Packs for the day no later than 3 hrs before the first crew report.
  • Conduct Flight Planning, monitoring flight plans and ATC slots inline with company procedures.
  • Coordinate cargo requirements, communicating these requirements clearly to the crew. 
  • Monitor Flight Time Limitations to ensure compliant with OMA Sec 7 requirements.
  • Actively manage the flying programme, identifying problems and proposing solutions to deliver company travel requirements efficiently and at the highest possible level of service.
  • Promptly escalate issues in a timely manner to management if they cannot be quickly resolved, cause concern or carry additional risk. 
  • Coordinate access to aircraft for 3rd Parties to facilitate maintenance and cleaning requirements.
  • Coordinate short notice crew hotac/travel requirements due to changes in schedule.
  • Identify and elevate operational requirements to the GOM/FOM that necessitate additional review or approval such as airfield categorisations or extended duties as a result of changes to the plan.
  • Prepare and brief the shift handover, capturing any outstanding requirements and identifying areas that require additional monitoring.
  • Enhance the robustness of their support network through professional and constructive engagement with third-party providers.
  • Be familiar with the ERP and be prepared to activate it in the event of an accident or serious incident.
We are looking for-

Fluency in English
Experience of aviation trip planning
Knowledge of flight planning and ATC Systems
Knowledge of scheduling and flight planning software (FOS/ForeFlight/Centrik)

Knowledge of the regulatory requirements as articulated within the company operations manuals

As this role is based in Farnborough you will be required to live within  a commutable distance of the airport.
