GOOSE Recruitment is representing a well‑established business aviation organisation in the search for an experienced Head of Charter to lead and grow its European charter sales function.
This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape global charter strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a high‑performing international sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing global charter sales team.
- Set clear targets, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance reviews.
- Establish effective sales processes, training standards, and KPIs.
- Support complex quotes, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Track performance data and report on charter activity and results.
- Develop and execute a global charter sales and growth strategy.
- Identify new markets, routes, client segments, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality charter proposals and client communications.
- Collaborate closely with operations, aircraft management, finance, and legal teams.
- Drive new and repeat charter business with clients, brokers, and partners.
- Strengthen client relationships to maximise retention and utilisation.
- Represent the organisation at industry events and client meetings.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to inform commercial strategy.
- Ensure charter sales activity reflects brand standards and service excellence.
- Strong experience in charter sales or business development at management level or above.
- Strong background in business aviation (essential).
- Proven success against revenue targets.
- Experience working with aircraft brokers and HNW/UHNW clients.
- Confident leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working across multiple time zones in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office 365; experience with Avinode, Schedaero, or Leon is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%).
