About the Role We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Account Manager to support sales activity within the aviation aftermarket. This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in aircraft parts trading or sales who is eager to grow into a senior commercial role.
You will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer requests, supporting senior account managers, and developing your own accounts over time. The position offers excellent progression opportunities for an individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset.
Responsibilities
- Support sales activity by responding to customer requests and preparing competitive quotes.
- Manage smaller accounts while assisting senior team members on key accounts.
- Handle transactions for aircraft parts sales, exchanges, and repair management.
- Enter and process orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with logistics providers and vendors to coordinate shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain documentation for sales orders, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Build product knowledge to identify new sales opportunities and trading potential.
- Assist with after-sale follow-ups including repair status updates and invoice tracking.
- Contribute to business development through outreach and participation in industry events when required.
- 1–3 years of experience in aviation aftermarket sales, account support, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of the basics of aircraft parts trading and supply chain processes.
- Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Commercially minded, motivated to build a career in aviation sales.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Familiarity with aviation ERP or inventory systems (Avsight, Quantum, or similar) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
