GOOSE Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Safety Co-ordinator on behalf of an expanding airline based in the UK.

The Safety Officer will support the safety team in both UK and Norway AOCs while upholding and promoting safety across the organisation. Investigating, analysing safety data, creating promotional publications, administration support for Safety Department and supporting SPI management are just a few of the main daily activities the successful candidate will find themselves involved in.

Responsibilities and duties-
  
• Investigate safety occurrences / support adhoc investigations
• Support part time safety officers
• Follow-up safety actions
• Create and/or track surverys and safety KPIs (SPIs)
• Create statistical safety reports
• Safety system software data management
• Maintain training records
• Create and contribute to safety publications
• Review and maintain safety dept documentation
• Create and contribute to safety publications (including review of external
publications on a regular basis where relevant)
• Attend safety meetings as required
• Ensure all meetings are minuted
• Travel within the UK and overseas may be required on an adhoc basis


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Relevant aviation related degree, aviation engineering licence and/or
commercial pilot qualification, or minimum 2 years experience in an aviation safety role relating to CAMO/Part 145 activities and / or flight operations
• Recognised industry Safety Management Systems training
• Working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Working knowledge of safety management systems (eg Centrik,
IQSMS, SafetyNet)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Clean UK driving licence
• Valid Passport
