GOOSE Recruitment are excited to announce that we have been chosen by one of Europe’s leading airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, to support them as their Pilot Recruitment Partner in 2019.

Established in 1928, LOT Polish Airlines is 90 years old and is one of the world’s oldest airlines in operation, offering years of longstanding legacy and a fantastic reputation in the world of aviation. This airline is showing no signs of slowing down and is on the hunt for new aviation talent to join their team of experienced pilots.

LOT Polish Airlines have partnered with the GOOSE Recruitment teamto handle their pilot recruitment needs and ensure they have the very best pilots on board. GOOSE Recruitment have been appointed to source First Officers and Captains who are looking to join an airline, which offers fantastic benefits.

“The team at GOOSE Recruitment are ecstatic to be partnering with one of the world’s most established and oldest airlines. This airline may be mature, but it has one of the youngest fleets in the world. However, what we are most excited about are the fantastic opportunities LOT Polish Airlines have given us to work on. These opportunities are unique to any we have worked on before, simply because of the brilliant training and fast-track programmes, they are offering First Officers and Captains. We are looking forward to helping LOT Polish Airlines in their search, and our goal is to source only the best aviation talent in the market.” Mark Charman, CEO and Founder at GOOSE Recruitment.

LOT Polish Airlines operates globally, and have a fleet of aircraft which fly throughout Europe, as well as destinations including:

  • Europe

  • Asia, including Thailand (Bangkok and Phuket) and Vietnam

  • America – including Chicago, LA and New York

LOT Polish Airlines are a fantastic airline to work for, running the youngest fleet in operation, plus they are Europe’s fastest growing airline. They are still looking to expand their workforce.

What are they looking for?

The airline is headquartered in Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport and has a large fleet of 73 aircraft, made up of737s/787s, Embraer 170s/175s/190s/195s as well as Bombardier Q400NGs.

LOT Polish Airlines now require First Officers and Captains for their B737, B787 and Embraer 170/190 fleet. These fantastic opportunities are different from any the GOOSE Recruitment team have worked on because they offer several unique career pathways for the successful candidates.

Usually, most airlines will require pilots to be type-rated, but specifically for the Embraer 170/190 roles, LOT has stated that pilots do not need to have this qualification. Instead, they are offering pilots the opportunity to receive training in this role, which is usually unheard of in the world of aviation.

For First Officers, there is also the opportunity to fast-track to Captain within the short space of 3-months. At GOOSE Recruitment, we know that this is extremely rare and an opportunity many First Officers will see as a huge bonus.

However, to be considered for this role First Officers will need a minimum of 3000 hours total time, of which 1000 hours must be PIC.

The successful candidates for these great roles will receive:

  • The opportunity to be based in either Warsaw or Budapest- two of the most desirable and inexpensive cities to live in Europe.

  • Attractive Salary

  • Health Insurance

  • ID/VISAs provided

  • Unlimited staff travel with LOT

  • A stable roster pattern

If you are looking for an opportunity that allows you to accelerate quickly, and take your pilot career to the next level, please contact Charlotte Charman.
