Since being founded in 2003, Wings Air became one of Indonesia’s leading commuter airlines flying out of Ngurah ah Rai International Airport in Bali.

Due to market demand, this airline has experienced substantial growth and now have a requirement for experienced ATR Pilots to join their team in Bali, Indonesia.

With our strong Pilot network, industry experience, and global reach this market-leading airline has hired our recruitment team to recruit the industry’s best ATR Pilots, to fly their fleet of ATR72 aircraft.

Could you imagine yourself working as a Pilot in Bali?

Indonesia is renowned for its beautiful landscapes and all year warm climate, which attracts over five million tourists each year. The ATR positions GOOSE Recruitment are recruiting for will be based on the volcanic island of Bali, Indonesia, which is a well-desired location for many expats and tourists and boasts some of the best beaches in the world.

Expats relocate to Bali from all over the world not only for its landscapes but also due to the flying opportunities on offer. In 2018, this island greeted 6,511,610 tourists, which was a 10% increase from 2017. These thriving tourism rates provide a lot of career opportunities to expats who are looking to work in the Tourism Industry, which is good news for any Pilot thinking about a move to the island.

Besides its beaches, coral reefs, green rice paddies, and volcanic landscapes, Bali offers a warm and vibrant culture. Art is at the centre of Balinese culture, which the Balinese people celebrate through activities such as festivals and dance. With many cultural dates marked in the calendar, there is always something to see and do in Bali.

For expats living and working in Bali, besides enjoying the beaches and coral reefs there are many other activities to do outside of work. There is something for everyone, including the opportunity to visit Temples (one of Bali’s most famous attractions), scuba dive, surf and not forgetting the famous spas.

The cost of living in Bali

Bali is known for being a place that offers tourists great value for money and as an expat, this principle will apply depending on your lifestyle and where you choose to live. Of course, some areas will be more expensive than others and therefore the cost of living will reflect where you choose to live. However, living costs remain low when it comes to local food and general household bills. For families, it is also worth noting that this small island is home to some fantastic international schools and is an extremely family-friendly place to live.

The ATR roles GOOSE Recruitment are recruiting for offer Pilots the opportunity to join an airline that prides itself on strong customer service and market reputation. So, if you have the relevant experience and want to join a highly reputable airline, the GOOSE Recruitment team want to hear from you.

Are you the right Pilot for the role?

The desired candidates must hold a recognised Airline Transport Pilot License, minimum 3000 hours of flying experience, and 500 hours of in-command on the ATR family. However, candidates with 50 hours of command on the ATR72-600 will be prioritised.

Your last proficiency check on the ATR47 should be within 6 months.

You must be certified fit and healthy with a Class 1 Medical certificate, a great team player and skilled communicator demonstrated by Level 4 of English Proficiency. Additionally, you must be willing to provide proof of No Aviation Accident or Incident as well as proof of No Criminal Records.

What does the overall package look like?

On offer for the right person is a tax-free monthly salary of USD 8,000 or USD 8,530, depending on the roster of 6 weeks ON/2 week OFF or 8 weeks ON/2 week OFF. As well as various allowances of up to USD 2,000, bonuses and insurance.
