Who are Air Japan?
Air Japan is a passenger airline providing passenger flight operations from Japan to Hawaii and across the Asia route. Based out of Narita International Airport in Narita in Chiba – Japan, this leading airline also specialises in cargo services - freight operations with routes from China, South Asia and Okinawa.
Having originally established as World Air Network in 1990, the airline later rebranded to Air Japan to launch its new operations in 2001 with its first scheduled service between Osaka and Seoul. Since then Air Japan has gone on to become of the most popular airlines operating scheduled services out of Asia.

What aircraft does Air Japan operate?
As a key player in the aviation industry, Air Japan operates 156 international passenger flights each week, and also 217 weekly cargo flights on the B767-300F/BCF aircraft.
Air Japan use the best aircraft available to ensure a reliable to high-quality service to its customers. This includes;
X 2 Boeing 767-300
X 28 Boeing 767-300ER
X 22 Boeing 787-8
X 28 Boeing 787-9
Could you be the next Pilot flying for Air Japan?
Air Japan operates a fleet of B-767-300ERs with routes to China, Korea, Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Vietnam, and Hawaii. Due to continued success and high demand on these routes Air Japan is on the lookout for experienced Pilots to fly their fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft.
On offer to the right candidates is a fantastic opportunity and great benefits, which include the support of commuting flights. In return, Air Japan is looking for Pilots who meet the following requirements;
Rated and Non-rated Captains for Air Japan on the B-767-300ER. Minimum hours (Total) 6000;
Minimum hours (Jet) 4500 (PIC, MTOW >65,000kg)
License ICAO ATPL (Taiwan or Hong Kong ATPL may be considered)
Ratings P1 Jet MTOW >65,000kg
FRTOL 2 years’ experience
Recent Experience Date of Last Flight within 1 year
Medical valid Class 1 Medical
English Proficiency ICAO Level 4
Rated and Non-rated First Officers for Air Japan on the B-767-300ER;
Minimum hours (Total) 3000
Minimum hours (Jet) 500 (no MTOW restrictions)
Minimum hours (Others) including; 250 PIC, or 70 PIC + 180 ICUS, or 500 ICUS 200 X-Country Including 100 (PIC) 100 Night Flying 75 Instrument Flying, License ICAO ATPL (Taiwan or Hong Kong ATPL may be considered)
Ratings P1 or P2 Jet (multi-crew)
FRTOL – 2 years’ experience
A valid Class 1 Medical
English Proficiency - ICAO Level 4
