Their aim is always to offer the best solution to meet every customers’ cargo transportation requirements, based on the current availability of their partners’ fleets.
You will be responsible for-
- Scheduling: Plan optimal flight timings based on demand, capacity, and market conditions.
- Frequencies: Determine flight frequency on specific routes to balance supply and demand.
- Capacity Allocation: Manage available cargo space to maximize revenue and accommodate various cargo types.
- Allocation and Routing: Optimize cargo allocation by selecting suitable shipping methods and routes based on destination, carrier availability, delivery timeframes, and cost-effectiveness.
- Capacity Monitoring: Monitor capacity on inbound and outbound flights, including overbooking limits.
- GSA Coordination: Maintain relationships with General Sales Agents (GSAs), coordinate activities, negotiate contracts, and align strategies.
- Integration with Ground Transport: Ensure seamless cargo movement to and from airports, especially considering changes in EU/UK logistics.
- Dynamic Pricing: Adjust pricing based on demand, booking time, cargo type, and route to optimize revenue.
- Road Feeder Services (RFS) Planning: Schedule RFS throughout the network by identifying trucking gateways.
- Procurement Liaison: Work with the Procurement team to identify RFS providers, negotiate terms and conditions, and finalize agreements with the support of the CRM Manager.
