The Role

As a B1.3 Licensed Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality line maintenance across the Aberdeen base. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing and certifying aircraft maintenance, including scheduled inspections, modifications (MODs), and rectification tasks.
  • Ensuring all work meets required airworthiness, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Issuing certifications within the scope of your authorisation.
  • Reporting any incidents, quality lapses, or issues relating to personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, or tools. 
  • Supporting a small, skilled engineering team in delivering reliable operational readiness.
The current roster pattern for Aberdeen is 4 on, 4 off then 6 on, 6 off, working 11-hour shifts (including a 30-minute break). There is also potential to discuss a 14/14 rotation.

About You 

You will be a committed, safety-focused engineer with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will bring:
  • CAA B1.3 Licence (essential).
  • Relevant helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Experience or type-rating on AW189, AW130, or S92 preferred, but not essential.

  • Strong work ethic with excellent safety awareness.
  • High attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Motivated to deliver high standards and uphold engineering integrity.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good numerical skills and IT literacy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
