This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of crew training operations, regulatory compliance, and a passion for maintaining the highest safety and service standards in business aviation.
As Crew Training Manager, you will play a central role in managing the development and implementation of crew training procedures and manuals. You will oversee the administrative and operational elements of training, ensuring full compliance with aviation regulations, while acting as a key point of contact between crew, management, and the Safety & Compliance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain training documentation, including Operations Manual Part D (OMD) and local procedures.
- Manage the crew training team on behalf of the NP Crew Training.
- Coordinate with Safety & Compliance to implement regulatory updates.
- Monitor and inspect crew training records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support training events such as Emergency and Safety Training (EST) and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Maintain and administer crew training workflows and record systems.
- Plan and coordinate line training for both new and existing crew in collaboration with Lead Captains.
- Work with Line Training Captains to enhance crew administrative performance.
- Train new members within the Crew Training Department.
- Fulfil any additional duties as reasonably requested.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint.
- Strong working knowledge of aviation regulations and training compliance.
- Experience using Leon and Centrik systems is essential.
- Demonstrated team management experience, preferably within an aviation training environment.
- A background in corporate aviation is highly desirable.
- Outstanding time management and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and confident working with clients and crew members.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, hybrid working on offer.
- Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
