The Crew Training Manager supports the NP Crew Training in an office-based capacity, overseeing the development and implementation of training procedures and manuals. This role ensures regulatory compliance, engages with the Safety Management System, and manages crew training operations and records.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain local procedures and manuals, including the Operations Manual Part D (OMD).
- Manage the crew training team on behalf of the NP Crew Training.
- Liaise with Safety and Compliance to implement regulatory changes.
- Conduct inspections of training records and follow up on compliance issues.
- Support training events such as Emergency and Safety Training (EST) and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Administer crew training records and workflows.
- Coordinate line training for new and recurrent crew in collaboration with NP Crew Training and Lead Captains.
- Work with Line Training Captains to improve crew administrative performance.
- Train new members of the Crew Training Department as needed.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably requested.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks.
- Extensive experience with Leon and Centrik systems.
- Proven team management experience, ideally within an aviation training department.
- Excellent multitasking and time management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and professional etiquette.
- Exceptional client-facing skills.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on experience level
