GOOSE Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Ground Operations Systems Manager on behalf of a rapidly expanding airline, to be based in Norway.

Responsibilities and duties:
  • Configuration, deployment, and testing of the company’s ground operational systems at new airports.
  • Maintain the company’s ground operational systems. Identify, document, and report any issues to the provider.
  • Provide support for internal and external users of the company’s ground operational systems.
  • Ensure that airport systems are configured correctly, and business rules are updated.
  • Administer users for ground operational systems.
  • Maintain payment devices for ground operations.
  • Represent Ground Operations in IT projects where relevant.
  • Identify areas where new developments can increase efficiency with automation, by collaborating with the company’s IT department and external suppliers.
  • Assist the company’s IT department or external suppliers with testing of new developments to the company’s ground operational systems.
  • Work with regulatory authorities to ensure that the company’s ground operational systems are certified where required (ESTA etc).
  • Monitor the performance of the handling agents, by creating automated systems and reports which identify deviation to departmental procedures and KPIs.
Skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of advanced level experience in managing Ground Operations Systems, including DCS and Weight & Balance.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects from design to implementation.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing innovative solutions to simplify and improve customer experience, using digital airport solutions with Ground Operations
