GOOSE Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager (postholder) on behalf of an aircraft refurbishment company based in Leeds.

This is a unique opportunity to join our client during a time of growth within their commercial and general aviation department.

It is anticipated that our client will embark on a period of strong growth over the next 5 years – therefore they need a Quality Manager who has the capacity to manage that growth trajectory; in addition to ensure that the business remains fully Compliant and its Quality Management System remains fit for purpose.
 
The role
  
Reporting to the Accountable Manager – the role will encompass the following responsibilities:
  • Conduct an initial comprehensive review of the existing Quality Management System
  • Provide comprehensive feedback as to the current system and recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide a comprehensive assessment as to how the QMS needs to adapt to a growth strategy including new capability development and different geographic settings.
  • Implement any QMS recommendations across both parts of the business (Part 145 and 21G).
  • Design an appropriate audit plan and undertake internal reviews according to the scheduled frequency.
  • Provide regular updates (weekly) to the Accountable Manager as to audit findings, progress of QMS initiatives and implementation.
  • Take responsibility for the management of all external audits including CAA./EASA and client audits
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring that the company remains fully compliant and is fully prepared for future compliance requirements.
3 + years Quality and Compliance Management experience within commercial aviation maintenance.
This is a Full time permanent opportunity
