We are currently hiring for an experienced Safety & Compliance Officer (AOC and ATO) on behalf of a leading provider of premium helicopter services based in the UK.

Essential Requirements:
  • Knowledge of CAA regulations, especially in Operations and Management Systems.
  • Trained Auditor with experience in internal audits (CAA/EASA regulations).
  • Experience with occurrence investigations (Trained Investigator).
  • Proficient in Centrik for Safety and Compliance management.
  • Minimum 2 years in a safety/compliance role in a helicopter company.
  • Minimum 5 years in flight/ground operations, maintenance, or airworthiness management in an aviation company.
  • Located near Biggin Hill, Liskeard, Gloucester, or Boscombe Down.
  • Strong safety culture improvement skills, respect-building qualities.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of human and organizational factors.
  • Willing to undergo training.
Compliance:
  • Manage and lead audits for AOC and ATO.
  • Conduct internal and subcontractor audits.
  • Oversee findings and corrective actions.
  • Prepare compliance monitoring data.
  • Generate audit checklists in Centrik.
  • Support provider approvals for operations/training.
  • Advise on compliance issues.
  • Support external auditors.
  • Deputize for Head of Safety and Compliance.
Safety:
  • Promote a safety-first culture.
  • Collaborate with Head of Safety and Safety Reporting Manager.
  • Investigate and analyze safety incidents.
  • Manage hazards through risk assessments.
  • Provide and monitor safety performance data.
  • Support Safety Action Groups and produce safety documentation.
  • Develop and deliver safety training.
