The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
Your main duties will include:
- Overseeing accounting functions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Billing, Cashbook, and Revenue Recognition.
- Preparing month-end and year-end financial reports and reconciliations.
- Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
- Providing day-to-day support and mentorship to trainee accountants.
About You
You will be a qualified or actively training in accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) with proven experience within the accounting function from trial-balance through to audited financial statements.
You will also bring:
- Strong attention to detail and high numeracy skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as SAGE and Microsoft.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
Experience in aviation or high-volume FMCG environments, and familiarity with airline accounting processes, will be advantageous.
