Operations Officer
Location: Crawley, United Kingdom
Working Hours: Shift work – 12-hour shifts (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
Salary & Benefits: £26K + full training provided
As an Operations Officer, you will be at the heart of the flight operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. From monitoring, booking, and planning flights to delivering excellent customer service, you will play a key role in keeping flights running safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 cover for operational queries and directions.
- Understand mission requirements and set up flights accordingly.
- Coordinate with operators, handling agents, fuel providers, customs, and immigration.
- Monitor flight progress and keep customers updated promptly.
- Identify and implement recovery plans in the event of delays or aircraft issues.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and post-flight data.
- Contribute to operational procedures and documentation.
- A keen interest in aviation and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Integrity, commitment, and a can-do attitude.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
