Key Job Responsibilities
    
 
Schedule Management
·         In conjunction with the Network Supervisor/Manager, oversee the cost effective and compliant planning and execution of the Company's flight programme, in close liaison with the Commercial and Operations departments.
·         Manage operational disruption, implementing recovery scenarios to mitigate customer impact. 
·         Manage long-term schedule publications to customers, suppliers and airline partners.
 
Service Management
·         Arrange and manage all service requirements for the Company's network and charter operations, including (but not limited to):
o    Overflight and landing permits
o    Ramp handling services and airport slots
o    Cargo handling services, including customer responsibilities for cargo delivery and collection, ULD build-up and breakdown, and loadability coordination, in conjunction with the Company's Ground Services and Special Loads department
o    Fuel arrangements (including the calculation of optimal fuel policies)
o    Electronic data requirements and customs filing.
o    Any additional services in line with customer or airline requirements
·         Identify and onboard new suppliers for charter operations (where applicable), obtaining any documentation required by airline partners and internal governance.
·         Coordinate the booking of crew travel arrangements in the most cost effective way, flagging overspend where the budgeted amount is exceeded.
·         Ensure all requested services and supplier information are recorded in company IT software.
·         Approve invoices for services arranged by the department.
Operational Support
·         Act as the point of contact between customers, suppliers and airline partners for all charter operations.
·         Publish the final charter handover to the Operations Control team and Commercial departments, as well as external customers, -72hrs to STD or when trip setup has been finalised
·         Identify and escalate critical issues to the Commercial department as necessary.
·         Support the Network Operations Supervisor with airport handling quotations, route performance studies and airport suitability studies, as requested by the Commercial department.
·         Support the Network Operations Supervisor in managing the Company's route database.
·         Assist with other operational tasks as required.
 
Communication
·         Maintain good professional relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues;
·         Participate in conference calls to ensure effective sharing of information and full awareness of others in all Company departments and other offices.
·         Treat sensitive data with care and in a confidential and professional manner
 
Correlation with
·         To work in correlation with all Commercial, Operations and Finance Departments across the group (where applicable).
·         To work in conjunction with the yearly strategies laid out by the Board of Directors, Senior Management and Management Teams
 
Group policies and procedures (Business Intelligence, Compliance, Finance, HR, IT, Legal)
·         To undertake all activities in accordance with applicable group policies and procedures so as to ensure that the interests of the Group and individual corporate entities are protected at all times.
·         At all times to ensure that legal and commercial risks (to the extent relevant to the post holder role) are identified and minimized through effective communication with applicable stakeholders as well as relevant support functional departments and, when necessary Board of Directors.
 
Other
·         To carry out any other duties within the competence of the role holder, as requested (including additional working hours as and when required).
·         To travel when required in line with business needs.
·         Be aware of and comply with the company policies.
·         Keep up to date with industry changes, procedures and requirements relating to job role.
