GOOSE is proud to be working with a leading aviation operator to recruit a skilled Rostering Planning Officer to join their dynamic Flight Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-driven professional to play a key role in building and managing pilot and third-party rosters, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain pilot and third-party rosters in the company’s scheduling system.
  • Ensure compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL), fatigue management, and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the Training team to integrate training and checking requirements into rosters.
  • Plan and manage pilot leave and time-off requests in line with company policy.
  • Support on-time performance and operational delivery through proactive planning and problem-solving.
  • Track crew qualifications, expiries, and training needs to maintain readiness and compliance.
  • Coordinate with Business Travel and Pre-Operations teams to align crew travel and logistics.
  • Investigate and report regulatory extensions, breaches, or fatigue concerns, collaborating with Safety and Compliance.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with all operational stakeholders.
  • Promote and uphold a proactive safety culture within the operation.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in aviation operations, ideally within rostering, crewing, or pre-ops.
  • Understanding of Flight Time Limitations (FTL) and Fatigue Risk Management.
  • Familiarity with aviation management systems; experience using LEON software is an advantage.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
